General presentation

 

The present exposure proposes historically to recall the evolution in the manners of table by the means of settings in scenes of natural size static characters.

- the XIX th century
- the XX th century

component from 15 to 17 tables according to the setting in situation and thus 15 to 17 points of animation.

 

Each table introduces, for the majority, the characters around prestigious drawn up tables; others, always associated with Arts of the table, make only suggest the situation. A panel acompagne each table providing a short history on the manners of tables of the time.

 

Tables

The tables can be composed by the decorators of the companies Villeroy & Boch, Rosenthal, Philippe Deshoulières, Scof... to also carry out compositions in natures died in various windows. See photo Doc..

Characters

 

36, of course dressed up, they animate the various scenes:

1 - a man phehistoric with a side of meat to the hand
2 - a lengthened Roman holding a cut
3 - a couple of the Moyen Age surrounded by a maidservant and a menestrel
4 - a couple Renaissance
5 - a couple richly avoided Louis XIV
6 - a couple of revolutionary peasants
7 - a middle-class couple with their young girl and a servant
8 - a couple in a scene of tea time
9 - six characters around a table of marriage
10 - a painter carrying out the " lunch on grass "
11 - an English smoking-room introducing two characters
12 - a couple of the insane years
13 - a coffee boy with his plate
14 - a contemporary young woman with her breakfast
15 - a spationaut in combination suspended in space
16 & 17 - 4 more timeless Venetian characters around other tables


Decorations

Apart from the sets of table linen, the majority of the scenes call upon element of decoration, furniture and accessories such as luminaries, mirrors etc. When this exposure is established in a shopping centre, we call upon the various shops for the loan of these accessories, the scenes concerned mentioning speaker then various.


Modes of exposure

 

More than very other undoubtedly, this demonstration of prestige offers a great flexibility of establishment which they are windows or common parts.
